Microsoft Excel

What should I wear today? is an iPhone app of the future.  With this app, one is given various outfit choices based on what the weather is outside.  With this app, one takes pictures and stores articles of clothing onto their application software.  It sorts the clothing based on what it is, occasion, season, and style.  It is a personal database that is specific to ones' own closet. 

So far in IST 195, I feel as though I have learned interesting information that has expanded my knowledge in the technology world.  This weeks lab assignment on Microsoft Excel, really taught me many functions in the program that I was not specifically knowledgeable on before.  One of these components includes a pivot table; which is useful in displaying large amounts of information.  Microsoft Excel is a very important to fully understand in today’s world.  Many businesses solely rely on this software.  It is used to store and display information in a simple and organized fashion. 

Many of the functions that were required in this weeks lab took me a few times to really understand.  I made sure to read the explanation a few times before carrying out the specifics of the lab.  I feel as though I will never be able to master this program because there are so many functions, but I will never stop trying.  Many people feel the need to use Excel because of the calculation function of the program.  This aspect is present in order to prevent and avoid human error.  I have enjoyed the extent of this course thus far, and I am curious to see what other interesting information you have in store for us next.
